ORDER OF MERCY - GENERAL CHAPTER - Rome 2022

TRANSLATION

We began this Thursday, placing our lives in the hands of God, praying for our vocation and begging the Lord to send new laborers to his harvest. In this spirit we celebrated the Eucharist, presided over and led by Fr. Ricardo Guzzo, Provincial Superior, and the delegates Fr. Pablo Ordoñe and Emilio Cordoba of the Province of Argentina.

During the first part of the morning, the work in our Chapter was focused on the presentation of and istening to the proposals that the attendees brought to this assembly.

In the afternoon, in a spirit of prayer and reflection we met in, what the chapter agenda has called, the Evening Recollection. In this moment, the reflections were given by the Prior General of the Order of Saint Augustine P. Alejandro Moral Anton.

Then, in the celebration of the First Vespers of our Founding Father Saint Pedro Nolasco, we gently placed ourselves into the hands of Mary our Mother, asking her to accompany us on the path of her Son, our Redeemer, and prepare us for the election of the new Master General and his government.
